Cinema de Lux Gives Bristol Folk a Glimpse of What's In Store

Cinema de Lux Cabot Circus Bristol is delighted to announce that this luxurious new entertainment destination is to play host to the regional premiere of "How to Lose Friends and Alienate People", the latest blockbuster from local actor and former Bristol University student Simon Pegg. The regional premiere is part of the cinema's open house on Thursday 25th September, which will coincide with the grand opening of Cabot Circus.

The film chronicles Sidney Young's descent from promising journalist to dismal failure at 'Sharps', New York's most prestigious magazine. Directed by Bob Weide and based on the novel by Toby Young, the film is not on general release until Friday 3 October. Bristol film fans will be amongst the first in the UK to see the film as this regional event takes place just a day after the world premiere in London.

Daniel Barrett, the General Manager of Cinema de Lux Cabot Circus, is delighted to be hosting the screening. He comments that; "The regional premiere is a great way to celebrate the opening of Cinema de Lux at Cabot Circus. The Bristol public will have the exclusive opportunity to experience first hand all that our fantastic venue has to offer before the general film schedule commences on Friday 26 September."

Cinema de Lux Cabot Circus commences its full film schedule on Friday 26th September.
